A last-minute gift for a wedding, made from walnut leftovers.

The tray itself is joined with just wood glue, without biscuits.

Walnut serving tray — Just glue, no biscuits, and a lot of clamps for the tray itself.

Walnut serving tray — Which I routed on my router table with a pattern following bit.

Walnut serving tray — I did use biscuits to attach the sides. And small dowels to attach the handles.

Walnut serving tray — Finished using two coats of Osmo Hardwax Oil with a light sanding in between. The lovely vase is made by my equally lovely wife.
